Embodied Self Compassion: Yoga and Zen

The greatest gift we can offer ourselves is self compassion- relating to ourselves with kindness regardless of our circumstances. For most, self compassion requires mindful awareness of our inner dialogue and guided practice. This retreat will offer Dharma teachings on becoming mindful of our inner critic and cultivating self compassion. Our yoga sessions will nurture our bodies and cultivate sensory awareness through somatic movement, asana, and breath work. Our practice will offer techniques to release stress and create a container of safety and support to promote relaxation and open heartedness. The yoga practice will be both dynamic and nourishing for ease and resilience.
